Haven’t done an Internet quiz in a while, so here we go:
What Kind of Reader Are You?
Your Result: Fad Reader
You always read the latest bestseller so you can be up to date on what other people are talking about, and to pass the time on your commute, but you have other leisure pursuits in your free time. |

Hmm… a “fad reader?” I’m not quite sure how I feel about that. It’s not an inaccurate description, I suppose, but there is something sort of… shameful… about it. At least I’m not a non-reader (he says, rather defensively).
[Ed. note: the table is screwy, incidentally — those black lines are supposed to be red, but I don’t know what’s wrong. I copied and pasted the code exactly…]
The lines are red on my screen…
And just because I wanted to tell you that, I felt compelled to take the quiz & tell you what I scored:
Your Result: Literate Good Citizen
You read to inform or entertain yourself, but you’re not nerdy about it. You’ve read most major classics (in school) and you have a favorite genre or two.
That sounds about right, except for the “read most major classics” part (some, but probably not most).
Actually, the more I think about it, the less accurate my results appear to be. I do read bestseller-type books, but rarely when they’re the talk of the town. I usually don’t get to them until years after the fact, and I simply can’t imagine that I’ll ever read The Da Vinci Code. So much for this quiz, eh?
I’m an “obsessive-compulsive bookworm.” Thank God I had this quiz to confirm it.
Yes, because I’m sure the not-knowing was killing you! 😉
