The Girlfriend was in a very strange mood last night, and now today I find I’m feeling verrrrrryy tired. Weird, huh?

What can I say? I got hungry and your neck looked so yummy. 🙂

We had a fun little Halloween… we tired our son out with trick-or-treating. We were disappointed to see how few kids were out, and most of the places we went said, “Take as much candy as you want! We’ve hardly had any trick-or-treaters!”
People just don’t go out anymore, and it makes me sad. They’re too scared.
We made sure to go to EVERY house on the block, even the people we didn’t know, just so they would have at least ONE trick-or-treater. There’s nothing so sad as being prepared for people to come, and have NO ONE show up.
Yeah, Anne and I only had three kids show up at her apartment. We hadn’t bought very much candy because of past experience, but we still have lots left over. I guess everyone goes to the mall or a church party or something these days. It’s so sad and ridiculous…
Personally, I’m convinced that there is no more danger than there ever was, it’s just that the news media has frightened everyone with constant stories about predators and loons. Further evidence of the Wussification of America. I’m glad you guys are carrying on the tradition…
Those are great pics, Brian – looks like the sort of Halloween I remember, and I love the Cars outfits.
I’m not sure why trick or treating seems to be on the wane around here. I hope it’s just a short-lived thing, though…
